FAQs

How long is therapy?

Everyone has different circumstances that bring them to counseling, and each person has different needs and goals they wish to address. Many of my clients are in therapy between 3-9 months. Depending upon the treatment plan outlined for the individual, sometimes therapy is shorter or longer.

How much is counseling?

150.00 per session

200.00 for initial assessment

If you are needing more time, I am more than happy to extend our time in advance and will prorate the session accordingly.

Are you in-person or telehealth?

At this time I only provide Telehealth. I use secure, HIPPA compliant Zoom video platform for online counseling for residents in Ohio. We will soon be servicing the state of Michigan as well.

Do you take insurance?

As an out of network provider, ORC does not file insurance claims, but can provide you a receipt for insurance reimbursement. ORC cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement. However, some providers will provide partial reimbursement for out-of-network providers.

What if I need to cancel my session?

If you are unable to attend therapy, you must contact your One Recovery Company at least 48 hours in prior to your scheduled session. Otherwise, you may subject to a $75.00 fee for late cancellation. If you do not attend your session you will also be charged a no show fee of $75.00.

Do you do faith-based counseling?

ORC provides Christian counseling upon request. Potential clients need not to be of a particular faith background in order to receive services. I tailor my sessions to meet the needs of my clients by including my clients faith background into the session. If you are interested, we would love to share more about what this experience looks like for you!

How often will my sessions be?

Therapy with ORC often begins on a weekly basis. This ensures consistency in helping my clients meet their needs and goals. I understand if weekly is not feasible for you, and I am willing to assist you in getting your therapeutic needs met. I will work with you by tailoring your treatment plan in a way that you can confidently make progress, or by making an appropriate referral to a different provider. I invite you to ask any questions you may have regarding your potential journey with One Recovery Company.
